Entrepreneurs (Business Class)
The Canadian immigration program encourages those people who want
to do business in Canada and can substantially establish themselves while
creating job opportunities for Canadian workers.
An entrepreneur is an immigrant who:
a) has business experience
b) has a legally onbtained net worth of at least $300,000 ;
c) provides a written statement to an officer that they intend and will be able
to meet the conditions to control a percentage of the equity of a qualifying
Canadian business equal to or greater than 33 1/3 %.
The enrepreneur's role in the business must have been management
and control of a percentage of the equity of the qualifying business .And the
business experience must have been accumulated during at least two years in
the five year period before the date of application.
The applicant will require 35 points out of maximum of 100 available;
points are awarded for the following selection criteria:
a) Business Experience;
b) Age;
c) Education
d) Language ability;
e) Adaptablility
