Self-employed (Business Class)
Self-Employed category is open only to those applicants who intend to
establish a self-employed business in Canada in the area of cultural activities,
athletics or farming. In order to be eligible in the self-employed category, the
applicant must fullfill the following definition:
has relevant experience ;
has the intention and ability to be self-employed in Canada ; and
intends to make significant contribution through either:
a) self-employment in cultural or athletics activities;
b) farm management experience.
The applicant will require 35 points out of maximum of 100 available;
points are awarded for the following selection criteria:
a) Business Experience;
b) Age;
c) Education
d) Language ability;
e) Adaptablility
